We enjoy hiking, but we don’t get out and hike too often. It seems like by the time you drive somewhere, hike, then drive home, the whole day is gone. Plus with a baby, it becomes more difficult. We recently bought a hiking pack, so we made an effort to get out and do it. Now that we live on the opposite end of town, we decided to try out a new area out by us—the White Tank Mountains. It was a nice area, with picnic tables and campsites as well. It was a beautiful winter morning, and we enjoyed getting out together.
Shayla especially loved riding in her pack. She just giggled and giggled at first.
Eventually she wore out and fell asleep. Poor thing. :)
